Recently inscribed on the list of World Heritage sites by the UNESCO, the Great Himalayan National Park or «GHNP», surprised by his splendor. We offer you to enter the wild world of the Park by one of its most beautiful valleys, the Sainj.
We are familiar with the Park, the office of Himalayan Ecotourism being located within walking distance of the main entrance. You walk up to the source of the river Tirthan across most ecosystems of the Western Himalaya.
Goral, Himalayan Tahr, Western Tragopan (the king of birds), or even the Snow Leopard could be spotted diring the hike. You should be in good shape for the hike but it is accessible to anyone who has at least one experience of multi-day trek in mountains.
